Bob Hoskins – THE LONG GOODBYE

EXCLUSIVE BRIAN MOODY PHOTO-SHOOT WITH BOB HOSKINS ON THE SET OF THE MOVIE THE LONG GOOD FRIDAY. 1980

It was long and wet and Helen Mirren let out a shriek when it touched her nose!

The English actress was experiencing the mischievous sense of humour of the up-and-coming ” cheeky Cockney ” Bob Hoskins as they posed for an exclusive photo-shoot at the Savoy Hotel in London to promote the 1980 Brit gangster movie The Long Good Friday.

” As soon as Bob walked in you could see he was in that sort of mood, ” said the photographer Brian Moody.

” He was laughing and telling jokes and  there was an immediate, tangible chemistry between him and Helen that made the shoot a  unique experience.”

” Little did we know at the time that the movie would be the defining role of this great British actor.”
