The former model Judi Shekoni has landed a starring role opposite Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart playing the Amazonian beauty Zafrina in Twilight Breaking Dawn Part 2 .
Best known for playing Precious in Britain’s top soap opera EastEnders, the 6ft 1 Manchester born Judi rose to fame as the girlfriend of gangster Angel, played by Goldie.
But her role in Twilight could not be more more different: Zafrina is described as a character that has lived outside of civilization for centuries, not attempting to keep up a human façade.
She is among the oldest vampires in the world and a descendant of an ancient tribe.
In a recent interview the 30-year-old admitted that her costume for Twilight, a leather bra-top and loincloth, had sent her running to the gym.
She also said of her time on set: ‘ Kristen and Rob are adorable, they have a great sense of humour and treated me like family… .they really set a precedent of how everyone should behave on set.’
